Gil Roberts is a Consulting Partner of Assay Advisory and is based in Santa Rosa.
Gil has extensive experience selling and marketing branded products in the mass, consumer electronics, e-commerce, photo specialty, outdoor & imprinted sportswear channels. He has sold and purchased a number of companies in the US and Internationally.
Gil's early career spanned a number of executive roles in organizations such as the Sara Lee and Russell Corporations as well as running a boutique active travel company in Toronto. Gil was the president of a number of Russell Corporation divisions as well as setting up, being on the board and running their operations in Ireland.
Prior to joining Assay Advisory Gil was most recently CEO and a Board Member of the DayMen Group, a private equity backed, international consumer products company managing the Lowepro, Joby and Acme brands across 8 divisions (Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, UK and USA) and a distribution network reaching 107 countries. During this time he also actively participated in the successful sale of the company from a Canadian PE firm to an American PE firm.
Gil earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his BS in Business from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC.
